Beginnings
Von traveled through many college towns (thanks to the continual changing of academic majors), and in that time, had a chance to absorb the different sounds and styles of dance music, as they would evolve from these different locations. He has been into electronic music since its conception. Von Rad's first techno sample that he ever heard was downloaded from a BBS from the 80's (Yes folks, there was an NET before internet) from a Commodore 64. The sample was a Digitized 10 second loop from Kraftwerk's "We Are the Robots" and it blew... his... mind... He now spends the rest of his life pursuing these sounds.
